She's here! Alayna Louise arrived January 5, 2008 at 3:21 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 19 inches long. Quite the little miracle she is, with perfect fingers and toes, and a head full of hair that makes mom proud!
A little about the delivery....
Jarin and I had taken Caden to the Family Museum Saturday a.m. and on the way home, I started to get a block in my vision. Jarin suggested that I call the doctor, to which I replied, "call the crotch doctor for an eye problem, are you kidding?" Needless to say I was a complete brat, but finally gave in. The doc suggested I drink some water, take tylenol and lie on my left side. Not 15 minutes later, my water broke, and off we went to the hospital. We arrived with Cade in tow only to find out that I was already 7 cm dilated. It was then, when they told me I was too late for an epidural, that I started to freak! Within an hour and a half after arriving, and four strong pushes, she was born!
