We are over 36 weeks pregnant now, so as of Sunday, there will only be 3 weeks remaining! I must say that as much as I complain about the pain and uncomfortability that comes with pregnancy, I love it! The baby is running out of room, so each day we can easily feel the butt, head, and feet! He or she is not moving around too much, but when there is movement... it is abrupt! It is fun to watch the hiccups, which I don't remember Cade ever having.
Caden is now sleeping in his big-boy-bed, and do I ever mean big boy bed -- it is a full size!! He is really enjoying his new bedroom set, so let's hope it stays that way after baby arrives too. :)
On the 14th we were in the hospital because of contractions that were 12 minutes apart. At that point they did give me a shot to push off the contractions. Then we had an appointment on the 27th, and they just said that the baby is doing well, and at this point they wouldn't do anything to stop or induce labor. My iron is back up to normal levels now, so there is no longer a concern for blood transfusions - thank God!
I'm still thinking that it is a girl, and Jarin thinks a boy. He was hoping for a 2007 tax deduction, but I'm not so sure that will happen anymore! Hopefully I'll get some more pictures posted soon. Miss you all and hope your holidays are meaningful!

The end is in sight!
Wow, I've been bad at updates! Since 28 weeks, we've been at the doc every two weeks. The hearbeat is still good, and hovering right over 150. Each time we go, they tell us that "the baby is of great size" which I could've told them from the pressure that I'm feeling! :) I've become anemic, even with iron supplements three times a day, so they are watching that closely.
Right now I'm 33 weeks along. Only 7 more to go until term, but if we go on Caden's birth schedule we are down to only one lonely week remaining! Last week I was dialated to 1.5 cm, which really means nothing ... except keep on going!
I'll catch you up again in another week or two...

We are getting closer!
At 28 weeks, we are now only six shy of when we delivered Caden! The doctor appointment went well this week and now I'm going every 2 weeks until the end. The baby measured at 29 weeks, a week ahead of schedule which probably means it'll be a good size baby! The heartbeat jumped back to 150, so keep your guesses coming as to a boy or girl!
I think that Cade is getting excited, as he rubs my tummy when I ask about the baby. We are planning to try transitioning him to a big boy bed soon.
More to come in the upcoming weeks!

What can you tell from the heartbeat?
We are now 24 weeks pregnant, which calculates to about 6 months. On Oct. 1st, we visited the doctor again, and all was well. The baby's heartbeat was at 140 (which points to a boy!) Don't get too convinced though... at 12 and 16 weeks the heartbeat was at 170, and at 20 weeks it was 150. I think this little twirp is trying to trick us! We were able to resist the tempation, once again, of finding out the gender. I think we may hold out at this point. We love the anticipation!

We had another ultrasound!
On Sept. 4th we had another ultrasound and everything looked great! The baby was measuring well, so we are still on target for a Jan. 20th due date.
There was enough cooperation by the baby that the ultrasound tech was able to identify the gender... of course, we didn't want to know! She wrote it in our file, so we can ask next time if we are up to it.
Caden came with us to the appointment, and he even received his own special picture of the baby's toes. We do have it all on video, so anyone interested can watch our little one with us!
