It's that time again for Iowa Football! This year Jarin and I got season tickets and shared a couple of the games with his parents. Works perfect for us because we have a sitter every weekend that we go to the game (thanks Rhonda and Clyde!) But the first game of the year was a special one for Caden... he got to go with mommy! This is his third year going to a football game, and let me tell you, he remembers everything about that stadium - especially the popcorn!
About once a quarter we headed up to the top of the bleachers for a potty break, a snack break, a "let's buy something new" break, a water break... whew! I was tired by the 3rd quarter! Here is one of his finds:
After the game, we headed back to the tailgate for a little wrap up before they kicked us out of Iowa City. Caden was hysterical! He took his bag of Dum-Dum Suckers and parked his chair on the sidewalk offering them out to any pedestrian. He totally hit on the ladies, and even scored $1.00 for a sucker!
